Why is college important

When we talk about college, we mean any type of training or education after high school including 4-year degrees, 2-year degrees, certificates, apprenticeships and more.

Jobs increasingly require some type of education after high school. College graduates typically have higher salaries and lower unemployment.

College allows you to experience new people and places, study the subjects that interest you, and get involved in clubs and volunteer activities to help you discover your passion.
